My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has been renewed for a second season.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, Toho Animation released a short clip on their official YouTube channel, announcing the show’s return. The video confirmed that Season 2 will arrive in 2026. However, the show has yet to announce a specific release window. Based on the release schedule of its debut season, many speculate that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 may get a summer release in April 2026. Check out the teaser below:
Toho Animation has not disclosed the episode count for Season 2, but it is expected to air 13 episodes, similar to the debut season. The plot details for the upcoming season are also being kept under wraps. However, there is no doubt that Knuckleduster and his team of vigilantes will return for more high-stakes action.
Written by Hideyuki Furuhashi, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes serves as a spin-off to Kōhei Horikoshi’s hugely popular My Hero Academia. Vigilantes begins five years before the events of the original manga. It follows Koichi Haimawari, who, despite not having a Hero license, never hesitates to use his Quirks to help people. His mundane life takes a drastic turn when the masked vigilante Knuckleduster recruits him and Pop☆Step to be vigilantes themselves.
The first season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes ran from April 7 to June 30, 2025, releasing a total of 13 episodes. The show’s voice cast includes Shuichiro Umeda, Ikumi Hasegawa, Yasuhiro Mamiya, Sayaka Senbongi, and more.
