When are The Sandman Season 2 Part 1 and Part 2’s release dates?
Netflix confirmed that The Sandman Season 2 will be released in parts. Volume 1, comprising episodes 1 to 6, will premiere on July 3, 2025.
Volume 2, featuring episodes 7 to 11, is scheduled for release on July 24, 2025. A special bonus episode, chapter 12 titled “Death: The High Cost of Living,” will be released separately on July 31, 2025.

Netflix increased the total episode count from 11 to 12 following the announcement of the bonus chapter. Season 2 will conclude the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s DC comic series.
Tom Sturridge returns as Morpheus. The cast includes Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Gwendoline Christie, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Esmé Creed-Miles, Barry Sloane, Jenna Coleman, and others. Allan Heinberg serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, with Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer also executive producing. Jamie Childs directed all 12 episodes.
According to the synopsis, Dream must face the consequences of his past actions and navigate challenges involving gods, mortals, monsters, and his own family. Netflix described the season as Dream’s journey toward forgiveness, stating, “true absolution may cost Dream everything.”
