The unique popcorn bucket trend lives on as Regal announced its Toothless Popcorn Bucket from How to Train Your Dragon. The much-awaited live-action rendition of the beloved animated film series returns with the adventures of Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless. On the eve of its release, fans are eager to know the retail price of the bucket.
Here’s everything you need to know.
What is How to Train Your Dragon’s Toothless popcorn bucket’s expected price?
Regal Movies has yet to announce the price of their Toothless popcorn bucket. However, we speculate it will cost somewhere between $25 and $40.
The estimated price range is based on the prices of previous major collectibles. For instance, the Jurassic World Rebirth popcorn buckets offered by Cinemark retail for $30.00. Similarly, Regal’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning Vault Popcorn Bucket and Thunderbolts* limited edition Drink Combo Popcorn Bucket each retail for $39.95.
However, an exclusive Lilo & Stitch Flocked Stitch Popcorn Bucket is available for purchase at Regal Stores for $54.95. Thus, the Toothless popcorn bucket can also fall within that price range. Since there is no way to confirm its cost at this time, we must wait for its theatrical release on June 13.
Regal Movies gave us the first look at its Toothless collectible on May 1, 2025. The official post on their X (formerly Twitter) page features a short video clip showcasing the adorable design of the bucket. It is a miniature of the beloved dragon with its iconic big green eyes, whose mouth opens up to reveal the popcorn holder. The caption reads, “He’s loyal. He’s legendary. He holds your popcorn. Meet the Toothless popcorn container you never knew you needed.” Needless to say, fans are excited to get their hands on the item as soon as it arrives.
Director Dean DeBlois from How to Train Your Dragon (2010) returns for the live-action remake as well. The movie stars Mason Thames as Hiccup and Nico Parker as Astrid. Gerard Butler, who had voiced Stoick the Vast in the animated series, reprises his role in the 2025 rendition. Other cast members include Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, and Bronwyn James, among others.
