When will Netflix reveal One Piece Season 2’s trailer and release date?
Netflix Anime dropped a special announcement on May 27, 2025, via their official YouTube channel. The teaser confirms One Piece’s major presence at the upcoming Tudum live event on Saturday, May 31. Thus, viewers can expect to finally see a full-length trailer for the show’s much-awaited second season on that day. Netflix might also unveil some new cast members or the release date for Season 2.
Season 1 of the live-action series arrived on August 31, 2023. Following the groundbreaking success of the debut season in 2023, it didn’t take long for Netflix to renew it for another. Season 2 began filming in June 2024 and wrapped production by February 4, 2025. Thus, fans can speculate that the Straw Hats will return to the screen in late 2025. The announcement at Tudum will hopefully clear things up.
The sophomore season is expected to kick off with the Loguetown Arc. Before the Straw Hats can head for the Grand Line, fans will meet some new members of the crew as well as other major characters.
