Hot Toys Love and Thunder Thor Sparks Joy in Two Versions

Another Thor movie is on the way, which means it’s time for the Asgardian to don a new costume. Undoubtedly there will be story reasons for such, but mostly, it allows toy companies to make cool new action figures of Chris Hemsworth in alternate costumes. And the Hot Toys Love and Thunder Thor figure certainly has fun with that, utilizing luminous paint and LEDs to, as Marie Kondo might put it, spark joy.

Fans have options, as well. The basic Love and Thunder Thor runs $305, while $40 more brings home a deluxe version with alternate chest armor, bonus armored-up arms, and a helmeted head with light-up eyes.

Aside from that, here’s the official description: “The brand-new collectible figure is expertly crafted based on the appearance of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the movie. It features a head sculpt with specially applied with luminous reflective effect that accentuates Thor using his thunder power, a specialized body to depict his muscular physique, a red-colored cape, gold and blue body armor with LED light-up function, LED light-up Stormbreaker, assorted lightning effect accessories with luminous reflective effect applied attachable to armor and weapons, and a figure stand.”
