TMNT Power Rangers Crossover Figures Add Green Ranger Shredder

At the end of a week of crossover reveals, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers mash-up figures finally get their villain. Green Ranger Shredder, unlike the rest of the line, comes single-packaged. Because he’s just that powerful. He includes two sets of hands, cloth cape, and power effects that resemble Guile’s Sonic Boom in Street Fighter.

In the Boom! Studios crossover comic, Shredder got hold of Tommy’s power coin and used it to become an evil Green Ranger. Considering Tommy started out as a bad guy, it’s like a return to the armor’s roots. As the Turtles and April used the other coins to become the new Rangers, Tommy infiltrated the Foot Clan. All of these cross-property designs have now come to plastic, courtesy of Hasbro. Green Ranger Shredder runs $32.99 at online retailers like Entertainment Earth. Shredder most likely completes this set, though there may be more crossover options in the future. The Turtles and Rangers also met in live-action, but it’s possible Hasbro only has the rights to make Ranger characters. Which works when the Turtles are Rangers, but maybe not so much when they’re just the regular TMNT paying a visit.
