Two Superhero TV Series Announced

The Hollywood Reporter has news on two new superhero TV series in the works.

First up, Mark Valley (“Fringe”) will play the lead in Fox’s drama pilot “Human Target” for director Simon West. From WBTV, DC Comics and McG’s Wonderland, the show is based on the DC Comics title and centers on Christopher Chance (Valley), a mysterious security freelancer who assumes the identities of those in danger, becoming the “human target” for his clients.

Also, ABC has given the green light to a single-camera comedy pilot based on the British series “No Heroics.” Written by “Will & Grace” alum Jeff Greenstein and original show creator Drew Pearce, the show is about a group of superheroes with less-than-formidable powers who hang out at a bar.
