Jonah Hill is in early negotiations to co-star opposite Shia LaBeouf in Transformers 2 for DreamWorks and Paramount, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Hill (Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) will provide the comic relief as a sidekick to Shia’s Sam Witwicky.
The sequel, set to begin shooting this summer, is scheduled for a release on June 26, 2009.
