Variety reports that Electronic Arts (EA) is developing a video game based on the G.I. Joe movie:
Numerous sources said that EA will release a game in conjunction with Paramount’s 2009 summer tentpole.
An EA rep confirmed that the publisher has interactive rights to “G.I. Joe” as part of its overall deal with Hasbro, but declined to comment on any specific game plans.
Opening in theaters on August 7, 2009, G.I. Joe stars : Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo and Christopher Eccleston.
