We hate to go against what Michael Bay said about the IMAX release of Transformers, after all he IS the director, but from what we are hearing the September 21 re-release has been timed at 149 minutes. The original theatrical release was 144 minutes.
Bay previously said here that the large format version would have 2 minutes of extra footage. Could it be 5 minutes now?
Either way, the fans win, as you’ll get to see the robots even bigger along with more footage than before!
