The Reeler has revealed an interesting update on New York’s 2007 Tribeca Film Festival:
The gala premieres in 2007 have yet to be determined, but on the whole they’re expected to be lower-key than last year’s United 93/Mission Impossible 3/Poseidon trifecta. Word on the street is that Spider-Man 3 and Lucky You will be featured as predicted last week, despite each having May 4 release dates and Spider-Man 3 having its world premiere in Tokyo four days before the festival ends. A Sony rep did not respond to e-mail Monday.
The Festival takes place from April 25 – May 6. We’ll let you know if we hear any more on this.
