LA Downtown News Online has more on the recent Spider-Man 3 filming which took place in Los Angeles (spoiler ahead!):
Additionally, Spider-Man 3 shot at Fifth and Spring streets in and around the Alexandria Hotel. During two consecutive weekends, Nov. 5-6 and Nov. 12-13, the intersection was closed to create a New York street scene, complete with newspaper boxes sporting the Daily Bugle moniker, subway signs and embellished storefronts. During one intense scene, “panicked” extras scrambled while NYPD officers shot blanks into windows of a third-floor building with soaring cranes and bright floodlights facilitating the action.
Spider-Man 3 swings into theaters on May 4, 2007.
