Batman Day 2025 Merch, Comics, & DC Events Revealed

Since 2014, DC has celebrated the history of Batman with a special Batman Day. The tradition continues this year with Batman Day 2025. However, this year’s event promises to be the biggest one yet.

The first Batman Day was held on July 23, 2014. It coincided with that year’s San Diego Comic Con weekend and the 75th anniversary of the first Batman comic’s publication. Since then, it has usually been held on the third or fourth Saturday of September. Batman Day 2025 falls on Saturday, September 20.

What can you get on Batman Day 2025?

Participating comic book stores will offer a selection of special comics for Batman Day 2025. Chief among these will be new printings of Absolute Batman #1, including a blank sketch cover and foil variant. There will also be an oversized 11×17″ black and white special, DC W.I.P.: Absolute Batman #1. There will also be reprint editions of Batman and Robin Year One #1, Batman: Year Two #1, and the original Batman #1 from 1940. The digital comic service DC Universe Infinite will also celebrate Batman Day 2025 with a curated collection of free comics in front of the paywall.

Gamers will have a chance to enjoy new Batman-themed content as part of Batman Day 2025. The Injustice 2 and DC Worlds Collide mobile games will hold special events allowing players to unlock Batman for their team. Gamers with a WB Games account will be able to download a Golden Age Batman skin for the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game.

Fans in the Los Angeles area will have a special chance to celebrate Batman Day 2025 with an immersive experience. On that Saturday, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour will feature a special exhibit chiefly devoted to the costumes, props, and vehicles from the Batman movies. The tour will conclude with a special screening of Batman Forever, with an introduction by producer Michael Uslan.

New Batman merch will be unveiled throughout September in the DC Shop. This will include new toys from Spin Mater, Mattel, and LEGO. A full lineup of these offerings and other goodies may be viewed on DC’s Batman hub site.
