Miles Morales is somewhat synonymous with Marvel Comics‘ multiverse. The young Spider-Man was part of the original Ultimate Universe, before being edited into Earth-616 by The Maker. Now, Miles will be the first hero to learn of the new Ultimate Universe, in a five part miniseries titled Ultimate Spider-Man: Ultimate Incursion.
Written by Deniz Camp and Cody Ziglar, Ultimate Spider-Man: Ultimate Incursion will be drawn by Jonas Scharf. The new series will find Miles drawn into Earth-6160, chasing after his baby sister, Billie. Of course, with Miles being Miles and that old Morales luck, things quickly become more complicated. This will lead him to team with a different version of Peter Parker than the one mentoring him on Earth-616. It will also lead to a fight with The Spot, and that is just the beginning of Miles’ extradimensional adventures.
Ultimate Spider-Man: Ultimate Incursion will explore new Ultimate Universe
Beyond meeting the Peter Parker of Earth-6160, Ultimate Incursion will see Miles Morales interacting with other heroes from the new Ultimate Universe. The cover for the first issue teases encounters with Black Panther, Storm, Wolverine, and Iron Lad. The five-issue limited series will also pave the way for the return of The Maker.
“It’s a pleasure, and a privilege, to get to be part of the Ultimate Universe’s first crossover,” Camp said. “I’ve had a great time writing not just Miles, but a couple of other Spider characters folks might be familiar with! To get to explore the different corners of the Marvel universe through Miles’ eyes, and further develop characters we’ve introduced in Ultimates—well, it’s going to be a series full of rich characters, big firsts, and big swings!”
“It’s hard to put into words just how excited I am to bring Miles back towards the universe that started my love for super hero comics as well as the place that Miles originated,” Ziglar shared. “Deniz and company have done some incredible stuff in the new Ultimate line. I’m excited to finally get a chance to have Miles confront being a kid born of two different worlds.”
Ultimate Spider-Man: Ultimate Incursion #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on June 4, 2025.
