Exclusive: First Look At X-Men Red #12 Cover & Solicits

There’s a nightmare currently unfolding in Sins of Sinister which has made the X-Men’s timeline a living Hell for everyone. Sinister successfully corrupted Professor Xavier, Emma Frost, Hope, and Exodus, only to discover that he can no longer control them as the future unfolds in Immoral X-Men, Nightcrawlers, and Storm and the Brotherhood. However, new heroes have emerged in Storm’s brotherhood, including Jon Ironfire, her most loyal warrior. And this June, Jon will make his official debut in the Marvel Universe’s primary timeline within the pages of X-Men Red #12. Superhero Hype is proud to exclusively premiere Stefano Caselli’s cover for the issue as well as the solicits, as the aftermath of Sins of Sinister unfolds in the present.

THE WHITE SWORD BROKEN!

The White Sword – the mutant Omega healer who could raise the dead and bind them to his service – had One Hundred Warriors. Now the first and last of the Hundred have come to tell the tale of the one who destroyed them…one who is coming to test the mutants of Arakko once again…

X-Men Red writer Al Ewing also shared his thoughts about the primary timeline debut of Jon Ironfire and the return of the White Sword.

“Old Krakoa-heads have been waiting quite a while for the return of the White Sword – and newer X-fans seem very curious about recent addition Jon Ironfire. But what if these were two great tastes that tasted great together? And what does all this have to do with Genesis and Apocalypse? The answers await in X-Men Red #12!”

Marvel’s full June 2023 solicitations will be released later this week.
