Black Adam’s JSA Stand Fully Revealed on Tie-in Comic Covers

They’re not quite character posters, but serve the same purpose. For an upcoming series of one-shots involving the Justice Society seen in the Black Adam movie, each member gets a cover. Two, in fact — one illustrated, and one photo variant showcasing their movie looks in full. Black Adam‘s JSA includes Hawkman, Cyclone, Dr. Fate, and Atom Smasher, and the one-shots kick off with Hawkman’s issue, Black Adam – The Justice Society Files: Hawkman #1, on sale July 5. The rest will follow on the first Tuesday of every subsequent month.

Per DC’s press release, “Black Adam – The Justice Society Files are a series of one-shot comic books profiling the members of The Justice Society, their backgrounds, and connections to Black Adam, leading up to the movie. Each issue features a main story by writer Cavan Scott, plus a backup story by Bryan Q. Miller charting the path of Teth-Adam, from slave, to prisoner, to becoming the titular antihero.”
