Disney+ Subscriptions Are Now Officially Available

You’ll have to wait for a little bit longer for Disney+, but subscriptions for the streaming service are finally available. In a new promo, Disney announced that fans can already start to subscribe to the upcoming streaming service ahead of its official launch in November. The promo features a lot of images from the Star Wars saga, from the Disney classics, and from the Avengers saga. But unfortunately, there is no fresh content from the forthcoming new shows yet.

“You have something very rare,” the voiceover says. “You have magic.”

Only US residents can already begin to subscribe to Disneyplus.com for now, and they can choose between a monthly subscription at $6.99 or an annual one at $69.99. Additionally, fans can use a seven-day free trial beginning November 12 to make their minds up.

The upcoming streaming service will focus mainly on film and television content from Disney. This means that people will find movies and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and 20th Century Fox in the same spot. Disney+ is also developing its own original content. An example of this is the Star Wars series The Mandalorian, which will be available on the launch day of Disney+. Additionally, two Marvel series will soon see the light: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision.

It seems that Disney may be ready to declare war on Netflix in less than two months.

Disney+ officially launches on November 12. Are you going to subscribe to the Disney streaming service ahead of its official launch in November? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
