Grinch 2 has revealed a brand-new trailer ahead of Jim Carrey’s anticipated movie sequel. The popular character is based on Dr. Seuss’ children’s book How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
While fans wait for the next Jim Carrey film in the Grinch series, they can jump into the upcoming game based on the character. Outright Games and Dr Seuss Enterprises have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas, the sequel to the 2023 predecessor.
The official description for Grinch 2 reads, “Make it a merry day in the land and show the Whos your Christmassy spirit. Every Who in Who-ville is jingling, singing, and celebrating. And this time, the Grinch can’t wait to join them! With a heart three sizes bigger, he’s determined to prove he’s changed by decorating the most spectacular Christmas tree ever.”

The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas trailer offers the most detailed look yet at the new 3D platforming adventure. The video shows vibrant worlds, festive gadgetry, and co-op gameplay. The main story will follow Grinch and his loyal companion Max as they go on a mission to build the most spectacular Christmas tree.
Four distinct worlds have been revealed in the gameplay trailer. They are spread across 23 action-packed levels designed to be accessible and fun for younger players. From the slopes of Mt. Crumpit and springy mushroom-filled Who Wood, to the cascading waterfalls of the Grinch’s Cave and the snow-dusted streets of Who-ville, players can enjoy them all.
The trailer also sheds light on the Grinch’s collection of inventive gadgets. Each of them is designed to help players overcome obstacles and uncover hidden secrets. They can speed through levels on the Rocket Skates, soar over hazards with a Jetpack, and freeze troublesome enemies with the Snowball Maker.
The Grinch 2 will also offer a local co-op experience where players can team up as the Grinch and Max. They can combine their unique abilities and work together to uncover hidden collectibles, solve environmental challenges, and gather ornaments to eventually complete Who-ville’s ultimate Christmas tree.
