Popular streamer and Scary Movie’s Kai Cenat has shared a hot take on Avengers: Doomsday, and Marvel fans are surprisingly agreeing with him. Speaking on a recent stream, Cenat admitted he is walking into the movie theater with a rare hope for the movie; he wants the bad guy to win.
“This is the first time that I will say I am walking into the movie theater… wanting the villain to win,” Cenat revealed. “I don’t know what it is. This is the first time I’m walking into the Avengers. I want them to get their ass beat. Is that weird?”
Unable to explain why he wishes for Doctor Doom’s victory, the streamer added, “I really want them to lose, like, two movies back-to-back.” He then dropped another wild wish by saying, “I’m not gonna lie, somebody might — Spider-Man’s gotta go.”
The streamer then explained that somebody might have to get killed in the movie, adding, “They might have to pull it, they might have to really brutally pull it.”
In agreement, a fan commented, “Fair take; I think Disney also wants the villain to win, especially with everything hanging on this film lol.” While another fan stated, “Lowkey me lol because the Avengers are selfish in a lot of ways, especially Cap, and that’s going back to Civil War; he just wanted to do what he wanted lol. Now he has to pay for his actions lol.”
What we know about the Avengers: Doomsday story so far
In Avengers: Doomsday, heroes from three universes collide and face a multiversal threat orchestrated by Doctor Doom. The upcoming Avengers movie will have the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four characters in the movie fighting against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
The storyline will unfold across a two-part structure, concluding in Avengers: Secret Wars. Much like Cenat’s hopes, there is a possibility of characters getting taken out in the first part. Secret Wars will follow the rule of Doctor Doom over a newly created reality where the remaining heroes battle him.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
