The Doomsday sequence reportedly pits Maguire’s Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Doctor Octopus against Wolverine, Deadpool, and Magneto during an Incursion. The alleged scene is reported to end with a devastating turn for both heroes. However, new rumors claim their stories will continue into Secret Wars, placing them on an unexpected mission together.
According to @JamesMackwl, all the reported events involving Tobey’s Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Deadpool are genuine. The claim also states that Tobey’s Earth is destroyed during the sequence. While Deadpool escapes through the TVA portal, Tobey and Wolverine are left behind in the destroyed world. This leaves plenty of room to extend both character arcs into Secret Wars after the rumored events of Doomsday.

Insider @MyTimeToShine claimed, “Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man will reportedly have a quest together in Avengers: Secret Wars.” He then added, “They are looking for something. Or… SOMEONE.”
The mysterious “someone” has naturally led to speculation about who the two heroes could be searching for. One possibility is Tom Holland’s Peter Parker as Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s post-credits scene has led some fans to believe it.
It is important to note that Marvel has not officially confirmed any of these rumored plot points for its upcoming Avengers movies.
