DC fans got a glimpse of Lex Luthor‘s iconic warsuit in recent set images from Man of Tomorrow. The photos went viral online, with many fans praising how the suit resembles the one seen in the comics. Man of Tomorrow is expected to have a worldwide release on July 9, 2027.
Lex Luthor’s warsuit gets best look in Man of Tomorrow set photo
The best look at Lex Luthor’s warsuit has dropped on social media. In the photos posted by user DCU Updates on X (formerly known as Twitter), fans can see clearer images of Nicholas Hoult as his character Lex Luthor in his green warsuit. Apart from the mostly green coloring, the suit also sports a purple hue, bringing the live-action representation closer to the one seen in the comics.
In other images, fans can spot a logo on the suit. Moreover, he could be seen hanging from a harness in the other snaps. DC co-CEO James Gunn previously shared an image of Hoult in the warsuit on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “Fit check. Live from the set of Man of Tomorrow.”

Another video from the set of Man of Tomorrow is circulating on X, showing Superman throwing punches at Lex Luthor.
The video posted by DCU Prime TV showcases Hoult and David Corenswet rehearsing a fight scene. While Hoult lies on the ground, Corenswet appears to throw punches at the actor. According to a report by Just Jared, an image that previously made rounds on the internet showed Corenswet in his Superman gear and bending in a punching pose, while Hoult lies down on the receiving end in the warsuit.
