What happened in Blue Lock Chapter 334?
The previous chapter began with Hugo continuing to taunt Isagi to strive to be the number two striker rather than the number one. In response, Isagi challenges Hugo to try to outsmart his team. Meanwhile, Bachira takes the corner kick. But instead of aiming for the goal, he makes a side pass, surprising the French team.
Bachira and Hiyori attempt a coordinated play, with Loki trying to block it. When Loki tries to steal the ball, Hiyori tricks him and passes it back to Bachira, who then makes his way toward the goal. As France’s goalkeeper, Renoir, prepares to block his shot, Bachira passes the ball to Reo. Before Reo can get the ball, Hugo blocks him. So, Reo lets the ball pass, which ends up with Isagi.
Isagi prepares to take the shot while taunting Hugo. To his shock, Charles catches up and says that he always keeps an eye on Isagi to ensure that Japan does not implement a trick that France does not know about. Seeing Isagi in trouble, Rin yells at him to pass the ball.
