Which Disney+ star wants to play live-action Spider-Man India?

During Capital Buzz’s Tower of Truth game segment, when asked about his dream role, Percy Jackson and the Olympians star Aryan Simhadri enthusiastically shared that getting the chance to play Spider-Man India in live-action would be a dream come true for him. To show his commitment, Simhadri confidently stated that he’s eager to learn how to do a flip for the role.

“Spider-Man India! Please! It’s probably not gonna happen until I’m like 40, but if it’s happening, if it’s in the works, please, Spider-Man India,” Simhadri said.

The Spider-Man variant from Earth-50101 is also known as Pavitr Prabhakar, who was created by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan Kang, and Suresh Seetharaman in 2004. This version of the friendly neighborhood superhero lives in Mumbai, India, instead of New York City. In the 2023 animated sequel, the character was introduced as a member of Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Society. He is expected to return in the long-awaited Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which will debut on June 18, 2027.

Simhadri is best known for playing Grover Underwood in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which will be concluding its 8-episode second season tomorrow. He also starred in 2021’s Disney Channel movie Spin, 2022’s Cheaper by the Dozen remake, and 2025’s Lindsay Lohan sequel Freakier Friday.
