Hayden Christensen recently opened up about the potential of returning to Star Wars following his upcoming appearances in Season 2 of Ahsoka.
What did Hayden Christensen say about his Star Wars future?
During a recent appearance at Fan Expo Boston (via Screen Rant), Christensen said he would “love” to return for more Ahsoka should the show continue on beyond Season 2.
“One hundred percent… I would love to, yes. If the powers that be decide that’s something that they want to see, I would be there in a heartbeat.”
Previously, Christensen reprised his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader for both the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries as well as some appearances throughout Ahsoka Season 1. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Christensen would be returning to Ahsoka Season 2, although just how much he’ll appear in the series remains unknown.
Ahsoka Season 2 is currently in production. A Disney+ premiere date has not yet been set.
Plot details for Ahsoka Season 2 remain under wraps at this time. It is known that Rory McCann, known for playing Sandor “The Hound” Clegane on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will take over the Baylan Skoll role. The character was previously played by Ray Stevenson, who passed away in 2023, in Season 1.
The synopsis for the first season reads, “Ahsoka Tano, the former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, is investigating a mysterious new threat to the galaxy after the fall of the Empire. As she reunites with her former apprentice, Sabine Wren, rumors of the villainous Thrawn’s return are on the rise.”
