Does Wednesday die in Season 2, Part 1’s ending?
Wednesday’s exact fate is not revealed in the first part of the second season. Though fans can pretty much make a guess that nothing will happen to her, the series intentionally left it ambiguous.
After Wednesday and Uncle Fester confronted Judi in Willow Hill, Fester used his powers to zap the entire electrical power. This unlocked the electrical cells. Thornhill took this opportunity to free Tyler, planning to use him again. But as soon as Tyler turned to the Hyde, he killed Thornhill.
The Hyde came face-to-face with Wednesday right after. The episode left out the actual struggle between Wednesday and Tyler, but it ended with Wednesday flying out of the window and landing on the sidewalk, unconscious. The episode ended with Wednesday lying bloody and unconscious as Tyler escaped into the forest.
Her fate was left unknown. In all likelihood, she will be alive, but there could be some complications from this fight.
Will Wednesday regain her powers in Season 2 Part 2?
One of the pivotal things that happened in this season of Wednesday was that she lost her powers after she envisioned Enid’s death. Perhaps the trauma from the fight with Tyler will bring it back to her, but as of now, she remains without powers. It is not very clear how she will regain it. But to move the narrative forward, she will need her powers, so some event in the second part of the second season should bring her powers back.
