Moon Knight Season 2 Significant Update Given by Oscar Isaac

A new Moon Knight Season 2 update has made its way online courtesy of star Oscar Isaac, who was recently asked about a new entry in the Disney+ series.

What is the latest Moon Knight Season 2 update?

During a recent appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, Isaac was asked by a fan about the status of Moon Knight Season 2. Isaac agreed with the fan that he would love to see a second season, but did mention that perhaps fans will see him somewhere else down the line.

“We’ll see, maybe one day,” said Isaac on the status of a Season 2. “Or in the movie we’ll see him.”

Isaac’s last statement on potentially popping up in a movie sent fans theorizing about what it could mean. While Isaac has not been one of the many people confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, it’s always possible the character could pop up in it, or in a future MCU project.

Unfortunately for fans of Moon Knight, should the series ever get renewed for a second season, it’ll likely be without the show’s creator. Last month, Jeremy Slater noted that if a second season ever happened, he likely wouldn’t be involved as he looks to move on to become a film director.

During a recent interview, Slater admitted he will probably not be involved in a potential Moon Knight Season 2, revealing that the fate of the Oscar Isaac-led show is in Kevin Feige’s hand. He also confirmed that he hasn’t been in contact with Marvel for a few years now.

“I have no idea. If we do, I probably would not be involved,” He said. “I am trying to launch my directing career. I am hoping to shoot in August. We are out to an Oscar-winning actor right now and waiting on his response, so it’s very exciting. TV takes you off the board for two or three years.”
