A new sneak peek confirms The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4‘s release date window. As the Whispered One rises and the party splinters across Exandria, the stakes have never been higher. Early footage teases dark magic, looming danger, and long-awaited character arcs.

Prime Video confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 that The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 will premiere in 2026.

The platform also released a sneak peek teasing high-stakes battles and a new, ominous threat. In the preview, the heroes appear scattered across Exandria. They must eventually reunite to face the looming archlich known as the Whispered One. The teaser shows flashes of undead rituals and key characters like Percy and Keyleth preparing for darker confrontations.

Season 4 picks up after the defeat of the Chroma Conclave and launches the adaptation of the critical “Vecna arc” from Critical Role’s first Dungeons & Dragons campaign. According to the official synopsis, “Season Four of The Legend of Vox Machina finds our heroes scattered across the globe on separate journeys, but when a cataclysmic threat befalls Exandria — they must reunite to face a foe darker than they could imagine.” It was also confirmed that Taryon Darrington, a character from later campaign episodes, will join the party.

The returning voice cast includes Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. All eight are also executive producers, alongside Brandon Auman, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, and Ben Kalina. Titmouse continues as the animation studio, with Brandon Auman as showrunner.

Amazon also announced a Season 5 renewal, which will conclude the series. Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham said in a press release, “It’s so rare for any television series to get to tell a complete story, beginning to end, exactly as it was envisioned.” Melissa Wolfe, Head of Animation at Amazon MGM Studios, stated, “Achieving five seasons is a significant milestone for everyone involved.”
