Many fans want to know what happens in the Superman after-credits scenes before they see the James Gunn movie. There are two scenes in the film’s end credits, one placed in the middle and another after they have finished rolling. James Gunn previously stated that these pair of scenes would be very different from the ones in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in part because of his “own mistakes in [his] time with Marvel.” Obviously, we’re entering into a huge spoiler territory, so please do not scroll any further unless you really want to know what’s in Superman 2025’s post-credits scenes.

What’s in the Superman end credits?
There are two scenes in the Superman end credits, the first showing Superman sitting calmly with his dog Krypto on the moon and the second being a humorous scene between him and Mister Terrific.
The first scene, which appears in the middle of the rolling credits, is meant to be a peaceful, enjoyable moment particularly after the intense battle in the climax of the film. Similar to a shot in the movie’s “Strength” trailer, it features a shot of the superhero looking at the entirety of the Earth while he sits on ridge on the moon, as he holds Krypto who casually grips his left shoulder. The view shows the sun rising over the planet with the United States dotted with the lights of major cities. While he looks at America, it shows his deeper commitment to protecting the whole planet and shows his perspective as a hero for the world.
The second scene has Superman talking to Mister Terrific as they peer at a major crack in a building that formed because the earth was split in half during the battle at the end of the movie. Some might have noticed a fissure that spreads in the ground in the trailers for the movie, so that could be the reason behind the crack.
Superman tries to make a joke at Mister Terrific, saying that the building is crooked, but his friend merely walks away and kicks a rock in frustration. According to a user on Reddit (along with several confirmations), Superman regrets making a wise-crack and shouts, “I shouldn’t have brought it up!” But Mister Terrific continues to walk way, causing Superman to mutter to himself, “Gosh, I can be such a jerk.”
