ABC has plans for Marvelâs Most Wanted, a new series following Adrianne Palickiâs Bobbi Morse and Nick Bloodâs Lance Hunter
First rumored back in April, a âMarvelâs Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.â spinoff is moving forward at ABC. Variety today reports that the network is calling for a pilot episode of a show that will be titled âMarvelâs Most Wantedâ and that will follow Adrianne Palickiâs Bobbi Morse (AKA Mockingbird) and Nick Bloodâs Lance Hunter.
âMarvelâs Most Wantedâ hails from âAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.â producers Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. Theyâre co-writing the pilot together and, should the show go to series, theyâll serve as executive producers alongside Jeph Loeb.
âMarvelâs Most Wantedâ arrives as âAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.â heads into its third season and âAgent Carterâ gears up for its second. Thereâs also another Marvel series in the planning stages at the network that has Academy Award winner John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) attached. Meanwhile, Netflix has its own corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe covered with âDaredevilâ already set for a second season and the first season of âJessica Jonesâ set to arrive this fall. After that, Netflix has plans for âLuke Cageâ and âIron Fistâ shows with the ultimate idea being for all the Netflix shows to cross over for a limited series, âThe Defenders.â
âMarvelâs Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.â also stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons. Co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell, âMarvelâs Agents of SHIELDâ is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television. It returns to the network Tuesday, September 29 at 9:00pm ET/PT.
