WEWS5 has posted a look at The Avengers production setting up in Cleveland and the locals' reactions. The set is being constructed in the city at East 9th Street between Euclid and Prospect Avenues. Filming is scheduled to take place from August 15 until August 24 there. The highly-anticipated Joss Whedon-directed film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Amanda Righetti. It opens in theaters on May 4, 2012.
