Kevin Feige on Captain America and Avengers
Filming in the UK, the Red Skull and gearing up for Whedon's Avengers
|
We haven't heard a lot from Kevin Feige since Comic-Con a few weeks back, but Total Film had a chance to talk to him, and though there wasn't a lot of new information, he did get into why they decided to shoot Captain America: The First Avenger in the United Kingdom, talked about Hugo Weaving in "Red Skull effect" and said that they've hired the crew for Joss Whedon's The Avengers with plans to start shooting next year. On shooting in the UK: Well it’s that two thirds of the film actually takes place in Europe and there are many scenes in and around London. So it just made sense that we film it where the majority of the film takes place. Having been here now for almost two and a half months prepping and twenty-some days into shooting. On Hugo Weaving as the Skull: A brief Avengers update: There’s not much I can tell you but Joss [Whedon] is hard at work with the script and we’ve hired most of our crew. They’re looking to design and build and prepare for when we start filming next year. You can read the full interview over at Total Film. Read more about: |

This is just my opinion but I don't think the character in itself matters as much as how he comes off on screen. I say that because few people knew who Iron-Man was until he hit the screen but RDJ's performance in that role made Iron-Man practically a household name.
And Although Iron-Man 2 could have been better, Marvel is so far from falling off the word 'gravity' isn't even in there vocabulary.
REALLY?! COME ON MAN!!!
These movies are gonna be great.....I can't wait for these. Marvel haven't dropped the ball yet and I don't look for them to.
Oh, I'm psyched at Weaving playing the Red Skull. All they need to do is shave his head and hit him with a coat of red latex paint and he's perfect.
