The Trailer for AMC's The Walking Dead

AMC has revealed the trailer for its new series, "The Walking Dead," which premieres with a 90-minute episode on Halloween night, Sunday, October 31, at 10/9c. "The Walking Dead is a six-episode series based on the comic book written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. "The Walking Dead" tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Jon Bernthal plays Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast includes Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger and Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Rick's wife Lori. Finally! Zombies on TV! Been waiting for this one. Although...The beginning where the cop comes out of the hospital kinda looks like 28 days later, but other than that, very sweet. Way to go AMC!
Not because anything scared me, but from how fantastic this looks and how epic and promising this is going to be.
The downside is that this first season is only 6 episodes.
The upside .. please please please let this show whomever is working on Preacher or Y: The Last Man that a story of the scope of those needs the television treatment, not a movie.
