Iron Man 2 Sets New Theater Count Record
Surpasses The Dark Knight's 4,366

Paramount Pictures will be releasing Iron Man 2 in 4,380 theaters on Friday in North America, which breaks The Dark Knight's previous record of 4,366 theaters. Will the highly-anticipated sequel be able to surpass The Dark Knight's opening record of $158.4 million as well? The film started opening in international theaters on April 28th and has already collected $121.1 million overseas. Directed by Jon Favreau, the movie stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L.
