Comics: Will Peter Parker Become Spider-Man Again in May?

Marvel Comics and The Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott shocked the world when they effecively killed off Peter Parker (albeit in the body of Doc Ock), and made Otto Octavius the ‘new’ Spider-Man. When this was first rumored and then announced, many fans were outraged by the prospects of the story, and it looks like Marvel is aiming to make you angry once again.

Could Marvel be jumping away from Octavius-Spider-Man so soon? Our gut tells us no, Dan Slott is quoted as saying Octavius as Spider-Man will be the status quo for the foreseeable future and based on how Marvel is trying to sell these issues, it looks like big things remain on the horizon for Spider-Man.

What do you think? Will Peter be Spider-Man again?
