The search for the next "James Bond" director is still on, reports Variety.
U.K. helmer Roger Michell (Changing Lanes, Notting Hill) was in talks to direct James Bond 22, but the negotiations have fallen through due to "creative differences."
The film will follow Casino Royale, which Sony is releasing on November 17, and will also star Daniel Craig. "Bond 22" has a release date of May 2, 2008.
