We've received hundreds and hundreds of e-mails about various rumors that Smallville star Tom Welling will also play the title role in Warner Bros.' new Superman adaptation. We've been skeptical about it all, and now 'Justin' from Blue Tights talked to comic book writer and Smallville producer Jeph Loeb about this...
I just did an interview with Jeph Loeb where he pretty much says that Tom Welling will NOT be Superman in the upcoming WB Film. He states that Smallville is currently planned to go on for 6 seasons, and Welling's involvement would push the movie back 2 years, which is not going to happen.
