10. THE DARK KNIGHT vs. RED DAWN
"The Champion of the common worker," reads this reality's take, "[Superman] fights a never-ending battle for Stalin, socialism and the international expansion of the Warsaw pact!"
Of course, Batman makes an appearance, too. His parents murdered by the illegitimate son of Joseph Stalin, the Soviet Bruce Wayne leads a anarchical terrorist movement against the government, dubbing themselves "The Batmen." Not unlike The Wolverines in the 1984 Red Dawn, they launch a major offense against Communist forces.
Red Son was so popular that it was named as one of the DC Universe's 52 parallel realities a few year's back. Dubbed Earth-30, its universe's Batman and Superman made a few brief cameoes in issues prior to the "New 52" relaunch last year.
