Ghost Rider writer and director Mark Steven Johnson has dropped by on the Superhero Hype! message board to announce that the movie is completely finished:
I thought you might like to know that I have officially finished Ghost Rider! That’s right — the movie is done and DONE! And it looks and sounds absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait for all of you to see it!
That’s not all. In that same message he says he is inviting three of the biggest fans to the premiere! Congrats guys. He also left this note about the latest TV spots:
Yeah, they’re really pushing the humor in these spots. It’s a good idea marketing wise (these spots are testing really big numbers) but not necessarily representative of the movie. There’s certainly humor in the movie and its a great ride, but it’s a lot more intense than these ads would lead you to believe. Remember, we’re all used to the Ghost Rider, but to the uninitiated, he’s a very intense and intimidating looking character with a dark background. Enough to keep some people away. So they’re making an effort to let people know that it’s not just a macabre horror flick. But rest assured, the movie is intense!
