EA Debuts Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Extended Gameplay Demo

With E3 right around the corner, EA gave fans the best look yet at its next Star Wars game. Earlier today at the EA Play event, the company dropped an extended gameplay demo for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This will be the first single player title that EA has released since gaining the Star Wars licence. And it may be the game that players have been waiting for.

In the demo, a former Jedi Padawan named Cal Kestis reunites with a familiar face from Rogue One: Saw Gerrera. Apparently, Cal is aligned with Saw and his Partisans. The events unfold on Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the Wookies. The Empire has set up a Wookie work internment camp while they tap into the sap from the nearby trees. According to Saw, the Empire has a deadly agenda for that sap and he needs Cal’s help to bring down their operation.

The demo shows off many of Cal’s Force abilities, including the power to push and pull objects. Cal’s most striking power is the way he can seemingly slow or stop objects long enough to use them as platforms. Cal can even slow down laser blasts and pull a Stormtrooper in front of his own discharge. Additionally, Cal’s ever present droid, BD-1, manages to assist Cal at various points in the demo. Unfortunately for Cal, Saw isn’t the only one from Rogue One that’s making a comeback in this game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will hit PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on November 15. You can catch the demo below, and then let us know what you think in the comment section below!
