Scott Kreamer confirmed to ScreenRant that Jurassic World: Chaos Theory remains part of the official Jurassic World canon. Speaking during the show’s New York Comic Con 2025 appearance, the showrunner confirmed the animated series is “absolutely” still canonical within the wider franchise timeline. He addressed fan speculation that arose after the release of Jurassic World Rebirth.
Kreamer explained that the events of Chaos Theory season 4 unfold parallel to Jurassic World Dominion, noting, “Our series runs kind of parallel, especially season 4, along with Dominion. So, Rebirth is still off in the future from Chaos Theory.” He added that the upcoming season revisits events “from different points of view that you see in Dominion,” reaffirming the show’s place within the continuity.
The sequel to Camp Cretaceous follows the Nublar Six as they uncover a global dinosaur-smuggling plot in Biosyn Valley. Returning cast members include Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Darren Barnet, Sean Giambrone, Kausar Mohammed, Raini Rodriguez, and Kiersten Kelly. Season 4 also features Dr. Henry Wu, voiced by Greg Chun, aligning the story’s timeline with Dominion.
When asked about a potential live-action crossover, Kreamer said “anything’s possible,” but acknowledged the dangers facing the group, adding it’s “a big ask to make sure that everyone makes it out okay.” The cast reflected on wrapping up the series, with Kausar Mohammed describing the final recording as “really special.” Williams noted his long connection to Darius, having voiced the character since age 12.
