Boba Fett Reintroduces Himself in New Disney Plus Teaser

“I am Boba Fett.” Duh. The galaxy’s most recognizable bounty hunter may have returned, but it seems some folks still don’t know his name. That’s clearly about to change, as the newly released The Book of Boba Fett teaser reiterates. In footage old and new, the veteran Star Wars character played by Temuera Morrison takes the throne of Jabba’s crime syndicate. But holding on to that seat will prove a lot harder than taking it in the first place.

We also get some nice new shots of Slave I — or do we just call it “Boba Fett’s spaceship” now? Plus several scoundrels who know star parkour. Fennec Shand appears to remain Boba’s faithful ally, but he won’t likely find many others.

Ever since the prequel trilogy, Lucasfilm had discussed a live-action TV show to possibly feature Boba Fett. At long last, The Book of Boba Fett premieres Dec 29 on Disney Plus. It will include episodes directed by Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dave Filoni, Steph Green, and Kevin Tancharoen.
