Netflix’s The Sandman Clip and Character Posters Reveal the Endless

After many years and many failed attempts at adaptation, The Sandman as a streaming series is one of those dream projects, pun intended, that scarcely feels real. Yet Netflix finally provides proof. With new posters and visuals, Tom Sturridge stands revealed in what will surely become a signature role as Dream. And in the clip, we see Charles Dance’s Roderick Burgess perform a ritual designed to trap death, making himself immortal. But that’s not what he gets. As the off-camera voice of Boyd Holbrook’s Corinthian reveals, the being summoned and imprisoned is Dream. And once you’ve pissed him off, best to ensure he never gets out. In addition, Netflix revealed three character posters. Sturridge’s Dream gets accompanied by Kirby Howell-Baptiste’s Death, and Mason Alexander Park’s Desire. And that’s not all. Via newly announced social media channels, signature accessories like Death’s Ankh and Morpheus’ helmet augment the poster images:
