The God of Mischief is Under Arrest In New Loki Preview Scene
Thanks to the events of Avengers: Endgame, the God of Mischief escaped his fate and created a new timeline. However, it won’t be a clean getaway in the upcoming Loki series. Now, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have released a new Loki preview scene that takes place almost immediately after Endgame. And Loki’s freedom is apparently very short-lived.
The clip also introduces Wunmi Mosaku’s Hunter B-15, an agent of the Time Variance Authority. Loki isn’t exactly impressed by the TVA, since this variant just finished fighting the Avengers in their first film. Regardless, he may regret not taking them seriously.
Owen Wilson is making his MCU debut in the series as TVA Agent Mobius M. Mobius. Gugu Mbatha-Raw also stars in the series as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, a TVA judge. Additionally, Richard E. Grant, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, Erika Coleman, and Eugene Cordero have undisclosed roles on the show.
Here’s the official synopsis from Disney+ and Marvel Studios:
“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”
Loki will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9.
