The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Debuts Ayo’s Character Poster

“The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be.”

After making a cameo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s third installment, Florence Kasumba’s Ayo made a much bigger impression in last week’s episode. Ayo and her fellow Dora Milaje demanded that Helmut Zemo be turned over to them. However, John Walker/Captain America learned the hard way that it was a mistake to get in their way.

Now, Disney+ and Marvel Studios have debuted Ayo’s character poster, which seems to capture her essence very well.

Kasumba made her MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War when she memorably told Black Widow to “move, or be moved.” She also appeared in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. But The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s fourth episode had Ayo’s most significant scenes to date. It was also revealed that Ayo played a role in Bucky’s recovery in Wakanda. Regardless, Ayo didn’t hesitate to literally disarm Bucky when he got in her way. Perhaps she never fully trusted him at all.

It’s unclear if and when Ayo will resurface in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. But as long as Zemo is free, Ayo will likely pursue him.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s first four episodes are on Disney+. The fifth episode will debut on Friday, April 16.
