Arrow’s Audrey Marie Anderson Will Play Harbinger in Crisis

Crisis On Infinite Earths has yet another actor pulling double-duty for its debut later this year. ComicBook.com has confirmed that Arrow‘s Audrey Marie Anderson would have a second role. Along with her regular part as Lyla Michaels, she’ll also portray her comic book counterpart, Harbinger.

“Lyla Michaels as Harbinger is a key component of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths that we were determined to honor in our crossover,” explained executive producer Marc Guggenheim while speaking to ComicBook. “What makes this particularly satisfying for us is that we introduced Lyla Michaels and her Harbinger codename all the way back in Arrow season 1.”

Harbinger plays an important role in the original Crisis On Infinite Earths comics. She was rescued as a child by the Monitor, and gifted with extraordinary powers. She was the Monitor’s right hand woman during his quest to save the multiverse. Harbinger even went on to play a role in the DC Universe after Crisis ended.

Brandon Routh is also pulling double duty for Crisis On Infinite Earths. Not only does he portray Ray Palmer/The Atom on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but he’ll also return to his role of Superman from 2006’s Superman Returns. A recent photo showed Routh in his new costume, straight from the Kingdom Come comic series.

Supergirl will kick off Crisis on Infinite Earths on Sunday, December 8. The second part will unfold in Batwoman on Monday, December 9. Meanwhile, The Flash will feature the third part on Tuesday, December 10. Then on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will wrap up the crossover.
