Ethan Hawke’s Batman series Batwheels is set to return with more episodes on streaming soon. The animated series, which features Hawke as the voice of Bruce Wayne and Batman, is continuing its third-season rollout with another batch of episodes. The upcoming release will add to the latest chapter of the DC series.
Batwheels Season 3 brings more new episodes this month
Fans of Batwheels will have another set of Season 3 episodes to watch on HBO Max beginning September 19, 2026, as per WBD Press. The upcoming batch will continue the season’s release, which has been divided into multiple parts since its initial premiere. Ethan Hawke is also returning as the voice of Bruce Wayne and Batman.
The third season began on December 5, 2025, and has since continued through a series of separate episode releases. HBO Max followed the opening batch with Season 3B on February 6, Season 3C on May 22, and Season 3D on July 17. The September 19 launch will bring Season 3E to the platform.
Created by Michael G. Stern, Batwheels offers a different take on the Batman universe by shifting the focus to the vehicles used by the Bat-Family. Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and the other heroes remain part of the story, but their vehicles are the main characters. The Batcomputer brings the vehicles to life, with Batman’s Batmobile serving as the team’s leader. They fight crime across Gotham City and confront vehicles connected to Batman’s enemies.
The voice cast features Jacob Bertrand as Batmobile, Madigan Kacmar as Batgirl Cycle/Bibi, Noah Bentley as Bat Truck/Buff, Lilimar as Batwing/Wing, Kimberly D. Brooks as Batcomputer/BC, and Mick Wingert as M.O.E., among others.
CBR’s Brandon Zachary reported on the series, “The action is slapstick and full of puns, the comedy is broad and overtly silly, and the show as a whole operates on a sweet sense of fun and adventure.”
