Doctor Doom’s Team Name in Avengers: Doomsday Possibly Revealed

Doctor Doom’s role in Avengers: Doomsday has sparked new discussion following recent online hints about his potential allies. A key Marvel insider may have subtly revealed the name of Doom’s rumored team, adding another layer of intrigue to the upcoming film.

Doctor Doom rumored to have a team in Avengers: Doomsday

A new rumor surrounding Avengers: Doomsday suggests that Doctor Doom will not be acting alone. According to insider @MyTimeToShineHello, “In Avengers: Doomsday, Victor asks the Fantastic Four for help with the Incursions. They travel together to the MCU in their ship to warn everyone, then join forces to head to the X-Men Universe – the source of the next Incursion.” This team-up positions Doom as a temporary ally working alongside Marvel’s First Family to prevent a multiversal catastrophe.

In the mid-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Doctor Doom kneels before Franklin Richards and removes his mask. Set five years in the future, the scene appears to set up Doom’s alliance with the Fantastic Four. Together, they reportedly attempt to prevent their universe’s destruction by traveling to the X-Men Universe, identified as the source of the next Incursion.

Reports indicate that Doom pursues a broader multiversal agenda. He allegedly uses magic to control a fleet of Sentinels, though the fleet’s exact purpose remains unconfirmed. This development supports speculation that Doom will play a central role in future conflicts involving mutants and the multiverse.

Alex P. of My Cosmic Circus posted a cryptic response to speculation, stating, “Y’all didn’t think he was alone…did you?” and separately hinted at the team’s name: “Harbingers of Doom.” This hint suggests the film may officially identify Doom’s group by that name. After an X user asked, “Doom’s team??” Alex P. responded with the teaser image.

The film will feature characters from across the MCU, including Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, and returning X-Men franchise stars like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. The Russo Brothers are directing, with a screenplay by Stephen McFeely and contributions from Michael Waldron.
