Production for One Piece Season 3 began on November 24, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa, according to Netflix’s official announcement on Tudum and Deadline.
The Straw Hat members returning to the show include Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Jacob Romero (Usopp), Mackenyu (Zoro), Taz Skylar (Sanji), and Emily Rudd (Nami). Charithra Chandran returns as Miss Wednesday. Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), and Mikaela Hoover (Chopper) return from Season 2 and now serve as series regulars. Xolo Maridueña has been cast as Portgas D. Ace, and Cole Escola appears as Bon Clay.
Ashley Wigfield wrote the Season 3 premiere episode titled “Where There’s Smoke.” Christoph Schrewe directed the episode.
