Netflix has finally unveiled the official trailer for Part 2 of the popular anime Sakamoto Days and revealed its release date. Sakamoto Days made its debut on the streaming platform with its highly successful first part on January 11, 2025. The series is based on the Shonen manga authored and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki. Part 1 of the anime consisted of a total of 11 episodes.

Expect bigger fights, more laughs, and unique characters that you’ll fall in love with.”
In the Sakamoto Days Part 2 trailer, fans can see the threat that loomed over Sakamoto and his allies reach his family. In one of the frames, Sakamoto’s wife is also seen being threatened by an enemy.
The story of Sakamoto Days focuses on Taro Sakamoto, a retired hitman trying to live a normal life away from crime with his family. Known as the best hitman, Sakamoto retired after he fell in love with his wife and promised her he would not enter the field again. Now he runs a convenience store with his wife and has a daughter. However, the task of leading a normal life becomes difficult as enemies from his past and other hitmen try to claim the bounty on his head. Sakamoto is accompanied by his former ally, Shin Asakura, and Lu Shaotang.
