Daredevil: Born Again Season 2: Elektra Actor Addresses Potential MCU Return

Elektra Natchios actor Élodie Yung is ready to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe return in Daredevil: Born Again.

Yung made her MCU debut as Elektra Natchios in Daredevil Season 2, which was released on Netflix in 2016. She then returned for the Netflix/Marvel crossover miniseries, The Defenders (2017), which was the last time audiences saw the fan-favorite character.

Will Elektra appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

Speaking with POC Culture, Yung shared that she had not yet been contacted by Marvel Studios about appearing in Born Again Season 2, which is currently in production in New York. However, the actor is more than open to returning to the MCU as Elektra, stating, “Oh, absolutely. That was one of the greatest characters that I had to play. Elektra is just a wonderful nutcase. She’s such a rich character. Who would not want to go back [to that role]?”

Yung also shared that she would love to be able to work with her former co-stars, “who I absolutely adore,” again. “We’ll see. If they call me, I will respond for sure. It’s just so much fun,” she added.

Check out Yung’s full answer about a possible MCU return below:

“In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course,” reads the synopsis for the show’s first season.
